Hadith 1604
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الضَّحَّاكِ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِشَيْءٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا عُذِّبَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ" . أَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ جِرَاحِ الْعَمْدِ.
It is narrated from Thabit bin Dhahak (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever commits suicide with anything in this world, will be punished with that very thing on the Day of Resurrection."
