Hadith 1537
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ أَسْقِي أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ بْنَ الْجَرَّاحِ وَأَبَا طَلْحَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ وَأُبَيَّ بْنَ كَعْبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ شَرَابًا مِنْ فَضِيخٍ وَتَمْرٍ، فَجَاءَهُمْ آتٍ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الْخَمْرَ قَدْ حُرِّمَتْ. فَقَالَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ: يَا أَنَسُ، قُمْ إِلَى هَذِهِ الْجِرَارِ فَاكْسِرْهَا، قَالَ أَنَسٌ: فَقُمْتُ إِلَى مِهْرَاسٍ لَنَا فَضَرَبْتُهَا بِأَسْفَلِهِ حَتَّى تَكَسَّرَتْ.
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I was serving a drink made from unripe and ripe dates to Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah, Abu Talha Ansari, and Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with them), when a person came and said: Indeed, alcohol has been declared forbidden. So Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Anas! Get up and break these pitchers. Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I took the pestle used for grinding grain and struck them from below until they broke.
Hadith 1538
أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُبْ مِنْهَا، حُرِمَهَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ" . أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْأَشْرِبَةِ.
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever drank alcohol in this world and did not repent from it, he will be deprived of it in the Hereafter."
