Hadith 1344
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، يَقُولُ: فَرَّقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْ بَنِي الْعَجْلَانِ، وَقَالَ هَكَذَا بِإِصْبَعَيْهِ الْمُسَبِّحَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى فَفَرَّقَهُمَا الْوُسْطَى وَالَّتِي تَلِيهَا، يَعْنِي الْمُسَبِّحَةَ، وَقَالَ: "اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمَا كَاذِبٌ فَهَلْ مِنْكُمَا تَائِبٌ" .
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) separated a husband and wife from Banu Ajlan, and did so by joining his index and middle fingers together and then separating them, explaining the matter through this gesture. And he said: "Allah Almighty knows that one of you is lying. So, will any of you repent?"
Hadith 1345
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْمَقْبُرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ الْقُرَظِيَّ، قَالَ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ آيَةُ الْمُلَاعَنَةِ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ أَدْخَلَتْ عَلَى قَوْمٍ مَنْ لَيْسَ مِنْهُمْ، فَلَيْسَتْ مِنَ اللَّهِ فِي شَيْءٍ، وَلَمْ يُدْخِلْهَا اللَّهُ جَنَّتَهُ. وَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ جَحَدَ وَلَدَهُ وَهُوَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ، احْتَجَبَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى مِنْهُ، وَفَضَحَهُ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلَائِقِ فِي الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ" . أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الظِّهَارِ وَاللِّعَانِ.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: When the verses of li'an were revealed, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Any woman who brings into a people someone who does not belong to them (i.e., bears a child through adultery), for her there is no good from Allah, nor will Allah admit her to Paradise. And any man who denies his child, despite the fact that he looks like him, Allah will veil Himself from him and will disgrace him before all the people, the first and the last."
