Hadith 1268
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ: الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ عُقْدَةُ النِّكَاحِ الزَّوْجُ.
It is narrated from Ibn Sirin, may Allah have mercy on him, that he said: "The one who holds the contract of marriage in his hand is the husband."
Hadith 1269
أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ: أَنَّهُ قَالَ: الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ عُقْدَةُ النِّكَاحِ الزَّوْجُ.
Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) said that the one who holds the contract of marriage in his hand is the husband.
Hadith 1270
أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ: أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: هُوَ الزَّوْجُ. أَخْرَجَ الثَّلَاثَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الصَّدَاقِ وَالْإِيلَاءِ.
It is narrated from Ibn Jurayj (may Allah have mercy on him) that he received this information from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "He is the husband."
