Musnad Imam Shafi'i

It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from among the villagers came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "My wife has given birth to a black child." The Prophet ﷺ asked him: "Do you have any camels?" He said: "Yes." The Prophet ﷺ asked: "What are their colors?" He said: "Red." The Prophet ﷺ asked: "Is there among them any that is white with a tinge of black?" He said: "Yes." The Prophet ﷺ asked: "What do you think, where did that come from?" He said: "Some lineage must have drawn it out." The Prophet ﷺ said: "Perhaps this (child) has also been drawn out by some distant lineage." (Meaning, due to resemblance with a distant relative, the child's color has become black.)

It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from the tribe of Banu Fazara came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "My wife has given birth to a dark-skinned child." The Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "Do you have any camels?" He said, "Yes." The Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "What are their colors?" He said, "They are red." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Are there any among them that are dusky white?" He said, "Yes, there are some that are dusky white." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Where did they come from?" He said, "Perhaps some lineage has brought it out." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Perhaps this (child) has also been brought out by some lineage."

Ubaid bin Umair narrated that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! My wife does not prevent the hand of any toucher." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Divorce her." He said, "I love her (I cannot divorce her)." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Then keep her."
