It is narrated from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) regarding the interpretation of Allah's statement: "A fornicator does not marry except a fornicatress" (__QUR_N__: al-Nur: 3), he said: This verse is abrogated, and it has been abrogated by (Allah's command): "And marry those among you who are single" (__QUR_N__: al-Nur: 32), and these are the unmarried men and women among the Muslims.

It is narrated from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib, may Allah have mercy on him, that he said: This is abrogated, and it has been abrogated by (the verse) "And marry those among you who are single..." and by this is meant the unmarried men and women among the Muslims, that is, the statement of Allah "The adulterer does not marry except an adulteress" is abrogated.
