Hadith 1049
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "لَا يَقْتَسِمُونَ وَرَثَتِي دِينَارًا، مَا تَرَكْتُ بَعْدَ نَفَقَةِ أَهْلِي وَمُؤْنَةِ عَامِلِي، فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ" .
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My heirs should not distribute even a single dinar from my estate; after providing for my wives' expenses and the expenses of the one who manages my property, whatever remains should be given in charity."
Hadith 1050
أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِمِثْلِ مَعْنَاهُ.
Through another chain, a narration with the same meaning as the previous hadith is reported from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 1051
أَخْبَرَنَا الثِّقَةُ قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُ مَرْوَانَ بْنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ [ ص: 300 ] عَطَاءٍ الْمَدَنِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي تَصَدَّقْتُ عَلَى أُمِّي بِعَبْدٍ وَإِنَّهَا مَاتَتْ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "قَدْ وَجَبَتْ صَدَقَتُكَ وَهُوَ لَكَ بِمِيرَاثِكَ" .
It is narrated from Buraidah Al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Prophet (ﷺ): "I gave a slave in charity on behalf of my mother, and now she has passed away." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Your charity has become obligatory, and it is your inheritance."
Hadith 1052
أَخْبَرَنِي عَمِّي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شَافِعٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ حَسَنِ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ نَبِيِّهِ، وَأَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: زَيْدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا بِنْتَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَصَدَّقَتْ بِمَالِهَا عَلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ وَبَنِي الْمُطَّلِبِ وَأَنَّ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ تَصَدَّقَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَأَدْخَلَ مَعَهُمْ غَيْرَهُمْ.
Abdullah bin Hasan bin Husayn narrates from several members of the household of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Muhammad bin Ali says, I think he mentioned Zaid bin Ali, that Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), gave her wealth in charity to Banu Hashim and Banu Muttalib, so Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) distributed the charity among them and also gave to others along with them.
Hadith 1053
أَخْبَرَنِيهِ مَالِكٌ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ فَقَرَّبْتُ إِلَيْهِ خُبْزًا وَأُدْمَ الْبَيْتِ، فَقَالَ: "أَلَمْ أَرَ بُرْمَةَ لَحْمٍ" ؟ فَقَالَتْ: ذَلِكَ شَيْءٌ تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ. فَقَالَ: "هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ، وَهُوَ لَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ" . أَخْرَجَ الْأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ قَسْمِ الْفَيْءِ، وَإِلَى آخِرِ الرَّابِعِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الرَّضَاعِ آخِرُهَا آخِرُ حَدِيثٍ فِيهِ.
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) came, bread and a household dish were placed before him. He (ﷺ) said: "Did I not see a pot of meat (on the stove)?" Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "This was given in charity to Barirah." He (ﷺ) said: "It is charity for her and a gift for us."
