Hadith 1045
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ أَبِي تَمِيمَةَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "لَا نَذْرَ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ، وَلَا فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ ابْنُ آدَمَ" . وَكَأَنَّ الثَّقَفِيَّ سَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَهُ.
It is narrated from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There is no (fulfillment of) vow in disobedience to Allah, nor is it necessary to fulfill a vow regarding that which the son of Adam does not possess."
Hadith 1046
أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "لَا نَذْرَ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ وَلَا فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ ابْنُ آدَمَ" . أَخْرَجَ الْأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْبَحِيرَةِ وَالسَّائِبَةِ، وَالثَّانِيَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْكَفَّارَاتِ وَالنُّذُورِ، وَهُوَ آخِرُ حَدِيثٍ فِيهِ.
It is narrated from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is not permissible to fulfill a vow in disobedience to Allah, nor a vow regarding that which the son of Adam does not possess."
