Hadith 1024
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ لِأَهْلِ السِّقَايَةِ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ أَنْ يَبِيتُوا بِمَكَّةَ لَيَالِيَ مِنًى.
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) granted permission to those among his household who provided water to spend the nights of Mina in Mecca.
Hadith 1025
أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ مِثْلَهُ. وَزَادَ عَطَاءٌ: مِنْ أَجْلِ سِقَايَتِهِمْ. أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنْ كِتَابِ مُخْتَصَرِ الْحَجِّ الْكَبِيرِ.
It is narrated in a similar manner through another chain from Ata, except that Ata has added these words: "Because of her giving water to drink."
