Hadith 1015
حَدَّثَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي حَجَّامٌ أَنَّهُ قَصَّرَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فَقَالَ: ابْدَأْ بِالشِّقِّ الْأَيْمَنِ.
It is narrated from Amr bin Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) that a barber told me that he cut the hair of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them), so he said: "Start from the right side."
Hadith 1016
أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ الْأَزْدِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ لِلْحَالِقِ: يَا غُلَامُ، ابْلُغِ الْعَظْمَ. وَإِذَا قَصَّرَ أَخَذَ مِنْ جَانِبِهِ الْأَيْمَنِ قَبْلَ جَانِبَهِ الْأَيْسَرِ.
Abu Ali Al-Azdi narrated that I heard Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) saying to the one shaving his head: O boy, shave till the bone, and when you cut the hair, start from the right side before the left side.
Hadith 1017
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ كَانَ إِذَا حَلَقَ فِي حَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ أَخَذَ مِنْ لِحْيَتِهِ وَشَارِبِهِ. أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْحَجِّ مِنَ الْأَمَالِي، وَالثَّالِثَ فِي كِتَابِ اخْتِلَافِ مَالِكٍ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ.
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when he would shave his head during Hajj or Umrah, he would also have some hair cut from his beard and mustache.
