It is narrated from Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Harith Taimi, who reports from a man of his tribe Banu Taim, whose name is Mu'adh or Ibn Mu'adh, that the Prophet ﷺ, while settling people in their places at Mina, said: "Throw the pebbles like they are thrown with the finger."

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw the Prophet (ﷺ) throw pebbles at the Jamarat in the manner that they are thrown with the fingers.
