Hadith 983
حَدَّثَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ يَنَّاقٍ، قَالَ: وَافَقَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ يَوْمَ التَّرْوِيَةِ فِي زَمَانِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَوَقَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِفِنَاءِ الْكَعْبَةِ فَأَمَرَ النَّاسَ أَنْ يَرُوحُوا إِلَى مِنًى وَرَاحَ فَصَلَّى بِمِنًى الظُّهْرَ.
It is narrated from Hasan bin Muslim bin Yanaq: He said, during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, the Day of Tarwiyah (the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah) fell on a Friday. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood in front of the Ka'bah and instructed the people to proceed towards Mina, and he ﷺ himself also went and performed the Zuhr prayer in Mina.
Hadith 984
أَخْبَرَنَا الثِّقَةُ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ.
Salim narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed two rak‘ahs in Mina, and afterwards Abu Bakr and ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) did the same.
Hadith 985
أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ مِثْلَهُ. أَخْرَجَ الْأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْحَجِّ مِنَ الْأَمَالِي، وَالثَّانِيَ وَالثَّالِثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْإِمَامَةِ.
It is narrated in a similar manner through another chain from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both).
