Hadith 915
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، وَعَطَاءٍ أَحَدُهُمَا أَوْ كِلَاهُمَا، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ.
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (ﷺ) had cupping done while in the state of Ihram.
Hadith 916
أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، وَطَاوُسٍ أَحَدُهُمَا أَوْ كِلَاهُمَا، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ.
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) had cupping done while in the state of Ihram.
Hadith 917
أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: لَا يَحْتَجِمُ الْمُحْرِمُ إِلَّا أَنْ يُضْطَرَّ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا لَا بُدَّ لَهُ مِنْهُ. قَالَ مَالِكٌ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ. أَخْرَجَ الْأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْحَجِّ مِنَ الْأَمَالِي، وَالثَّانِيَ وَالثَّالِثَ فِي كِتَابِ اخْتِلَافِ مَالِكٍ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ.
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he used to say: A Muhrim should not get cupped unless there is such a necessity for which there is no alternative.
