Hadith 872
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ أَبَا رَافِعٍ مَوْلَاهُ وَرَجُلَيْنِ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَزَوَّجَاهُ مَيْمُونَةَ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ.
It is narrated from Sulaiman bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent his servant Abu Rafi' and two men from the Ansar, so they married him to Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), and the Prophet (ﷺ) was in Medina.
Hadith 873
أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، قَالَ: وَهِلَ فُلَانٌ مَا نَكَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَيْمُونَةَ إِلَّا وَهُوَ حَلَالٌ.
It is narrated from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib, may Allah have mercy on him, that he said: "So-and-so was mistaken because the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) married Maymunah while he was in a state of being lawful (not in ihram)."
Hadith 874
أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْأَصَمِّ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَكَحَ مَيْمُونَةَ وَهُوَ حَلَالٌ. قَالَ عَمْرٌو: فَقُلْتُ لِابْنِ شِهَابٍ: أَتَجْعَلُ يَزِيدَ بْنَ الْأَصَمِّ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ؟ .
It is narrated from Yazid bin Asam (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) married Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) while he was in a state of being lawful (not in Ihram).
Hadith 875
أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ أَبَا رَافِعٍ مَوْلَاهُ وَرَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَزَوَّجَاهُ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ وَهُوَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ.
It is narrated from Sulayman bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent Abu Rafi‘ (who was his servant) and a man from the Ansar, so they married him to Maymunah bint al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with her) before he left Madinah (for Makkah).
Hadith 876
أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ أُخْتِ مَيْمُونَةَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَكَحَ مَيْمُونَةَ وَهُوَ حَلَالٌ.
It is narrated from Yazid bin Asam (may Allah have mercy on him) (he is the nephew of Maymunah, may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married Maymunah while he was in a state of being lawful (not in Ihram).
Hadith 877
أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، قَالَ: أَوْهَمَ الَّذِي رَوَى أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَكَحَ مَيْمُونَةَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ مَا نَكَحَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا وَهُوَ حَلَالٌ. أَخْرَجَ الثَّلَاثَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنَ الْجُزْءِ الثَّانِي مِنَ اخْتِلَافِ الْحَدِيثِ، وَإِلَى آخِرِ السَّادِسِ مِنْ بَابِ الشِّغَارِ.
It is narrated from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "He is mistaken who stated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) married Maymunah while in the state of ihram; the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) married her while he was not in ihram."
