Hadith 824
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ خَلَادِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: أَتَانِي جِبْرَائِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ آمُرَ أَصْحَابِي أَوْ مَنْ مَعِي أَنْ يَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ أَوْ بِالْإِهْلَالِ، يُرِيدُ أَحَدَهُمَا.
It is narrated from Saib Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to me and instructed me to command my companions or those who are with me to raise their voices when reciting the Takbeer or the Talbiyah; they intend one of these two."
Hadith 825
أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُكْثِرُ مِنَ التَّلْبِيَةِ.
It is narrated from Muhammad bin Munkadir that the Prophet ﷺ used to recite the Talbiyah frequently.
Hadith 826
أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُلَبِّي رَاكِبًا وَنَازِلًا وَمُضْطَجِعًا.
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he used to recite the Talbiyah while riding, walking, and lying down.
Hadith 827
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ تَلْبِيَتِهِ، سَأَلَ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى رِضْوَانَهُ وَالْجَنَّةَ، وَاسْتَعْفَاهُ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مِنَ النَّارِ. أَخْرَجَ الْأَرْبَعَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْمَنَاسِكِ.
It is narrated from Khuzaimah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that he narrates from the Prophet (ﷺ) that when he would finish the Talbiyah, he would ask Allah Almighty for His pleasure and for Paradise, and by means of His mercy, seek protection from Hell.
