Hadith 772
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ مُزَاحِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ مُحَرِّشٍ الْكَعْبِيِّ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْجِعِرَّانَةِ لَيْلًا فَاعْتَمَرَ وَأَصْبَحَ بِهَا كَبَائِتٍ.
It is narrated from Mihrash al-Ka‘bi that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out from Ja‘ranah at night and (entered Makkah and) performed ‘Umrah, and in the morning he was at Ja‘ranah, as if he had spent the night there.
Hadith 773
أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ. قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: هُوَ مِخْرَشٌ. قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ: وَأَصَابَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ لِأَنَّ وَلَدَهُ عِنْدَنَا هُوَ مِخْرَشٌ.
This hadith is narrated in the same way from another chain by Ibn Jurayj. Ibn Jurayj says that it is not "Muharrash" but "Mukhrash." Imam Shafi'i, may Allah have mercy on him, says: Ibn Jurayj has spoken correctly because his son Mukhrash is with us.
Hadith 774
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ: أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ دِينَارٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ أَوْسٍ يَقُولُ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُرْدِفَ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا فَيُعْمِرَهَا مِنَ التَّنْعِيمِ.
Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me to seat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) behind me and take her, and to perform ‘Umrah for her from Taneem.
Hadith 775
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ: أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا اعْتَمَرَتْ فِي سَنَةٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ: مَرَّةً مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَمَرَّةً مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ.
It is narrated from Ibn al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) that Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) performed Umrah twice in a year: once from Dhul-Hulaifah and once from Juhfah.
Hadith 776
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ صَدَقَةَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ: أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اعْتَمَرَتْ فِي سَنَةٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ. قَالَ صَدَقَةُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ: فَقُلْتُ فَهَلْ عَابَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهَا أَحَدٌ؟ قَالَ: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، أُمُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، فَاسْتَحْيَيْتُ.
It is narrated from Qasim bin Muhammad (may Allah have mercy on him) that the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him), Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), performed Umrah twice in a year. Sadaqah bin Yasar says: I asked, "Did anyone object to her?" So Qasim (may Allah have mercy on him) (in astonishment) said: "Subhan Allah!" He said, "Objection to the Mother of the Believers!" Sadaqah says: I felt ashamed for having said this.
Hadith 777
أَخْبَرَنَا أَنَسٌ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ: اعْتَمَرَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَعْوَامًا فِي عَهْدِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عُمْرَتَيْنِ فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ.
It is narrated from Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) performed two Umrahs every year during the era of Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 778
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ بَعْضِ وَلَدِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ بِمَكَّةَ، فَكَانَ إِذَا حَمَّمَ رَأْسُهُ خَرَجَ فَاعْتَمَرَ.
One of the sons of Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says that we were in Makkah with Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him). When the hair on his head would grow out, he would set out again to perform ‘Umrah.
Hadith 779
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ: أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: فِي كُلِّ شَهْرٍ عُمْرَةٌ.
It is narrated from Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) that Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: There is an ‘Umrah in every month.
Hadith 780
أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ: أَنَّ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: فِي كُلِّ شَهْرٍ عُمْرَةٌ.
It is narrated from Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: There is an ‘Umrah in every month.
Hadith 781
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ صَدَقَةَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ: أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا اعْتَمَرَتْ فِي سَنَةٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ قَالَ: مِرَارًا. قَالَ: قُلْتُ: أَعَابَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهَا أَحَدٌ؟ قَالَ: فَقَالَ الْقَاسِمُ: أُمُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، فَاسْتَحْيَيْتُ.
It is narrated from Qasim bin Muhammad (may Allah be pleased with him) that Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) performed Umrah twice in one year, or he said, several times. Sadaqah says: I asked, did anyone object to her? Sadaqah says: Qasim said: (Object) to the Mother of the Believers! Sadaqah says: I felt ashamed.
Hadith 782
أَخْبَرَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّهُ اعْتَمَرَ فِي سَنَةٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ، أَوْ قَالَ: مِرَارًا.
It is narrated from Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) performed Umrah several times in one year, and said this here twice.
Hadith 783
حَدَّثَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّهُ أَهَلَّ مِنْ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ.
It is narrated from Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) assumed Ihram from Bayt al-Maqdis.
Hadith 784
أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ دِينَارٍ، يَقُولُ: أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، يَقُولُ: أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أُعْمِرَ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا فَأَعْمَرْتُهَا مِنَ التَّنْعِيمِ، قَالَ هُوَ أَوْ غَيْرُهُ فِي الْحَدِيثِ: لَيْلَةَ الْحَصْبَةِ. [ ص: 182 ] أَخْرَجَ الثَّمَانِيَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْمَنَاسِكِ، وَإِلَى آخِرِ الثَّالِثَ عَشَرَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْحَجِّ مِنَ الْأَمَالِي.
Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me to take Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) to perform Umrah, so I took her to perform Umrah from Taneem. She, or someone else besides her, said in the hadith: the night of Al-Muhassab.
