Hadith 755
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى صَاحِبِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ لَمْ يَحْجُجْ، أَيَسْتَقْرِضُ لِلْحَجِّ؟ قَالَ: "لَا" . أَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْمَنَاسِكِ.
It is narrated from the companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him), Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him), that he reports: I asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about a man who has not performed Hajj, so should he take a loan to perform Hajj? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "No."
