Hadith 735
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ [ ص: 162 ] أُذَيْنَةَ: أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: لَيْسَ فِي الْعَنْبَرِ زَكَاةٌ، إِنَّمَا هُوَ شَيْءٌ دَسَرَهُ الْبَحْرُ.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: There is no zakat on ambergris; it is merely a thing that the sea throws onto the shore.
Hadith 736
أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ وَعَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: لَيْسَ فِي الْعَنْبَرِ شَيْءٌ، إِنَّمَا هُوَ شَيْءٌ دَسَرَهُ الْبَحْرُ. أَخْرَجَ الْأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْبُيُوعِ، وَالثَّانِيَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الزَّكَاةِ.
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: There is nothing (prohibited) in ambergris; it is just a thing that the sea throws up on the shore.
