Hadith 706
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ كِلَاهُمَا، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ فِي عَبْدِهِ وَلَا فَرَسِهِ صَدَقَةٌ" .
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Zakat is not obligatory on a Muslim for his slave and his horse."
Hadith 707
أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ.
From another chain of narration, it is reported from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet ﷺ in a manner similar to the previous hadith.
Hadith 708
أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ مِثْلَهُ مَوْقُوفًا عَلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ.
Iraq bin Malik narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) in the same way as a mawquf narration.
Hadith 709
أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ صَدَقَةِ الْبَرَاذِينَ، قَالَ: وَهَلْ فِي الْخَيْلِ صَدَقَةٌ؟ أَخْرَجَ الْأَرْبَعَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الزَّكَاةِ
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) who says: I asked Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) about the zakat on non-Arab horses, so he said: "Is zakat obligatory on horses?"
