Hadith 599
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ وَغَيْرُهُ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُلَّ مِنْ قِبَلِ رَأْسِهِ.
It is narrated from Imran bin Musa that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was lowered into the grave from the side of the head.
Hadith 600
أَخْبَرَنَا الثِّقَةُ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سُلَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ قِبَلِ رَأْسِهِ.
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was lowered into the blessed grave from the side of the head.
Hadith 601
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَثَا عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ ثَلَاثَ حَثَيَاتٍ بِيَدَيْهِ جَمِيعًا.
Ja'far bin Muhammad narrates from his father that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) threw three handfuls of soil on the deceased with both his hands.
Hadith 602
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَشَّ عَلَى قَبْرِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ابْنِهِ، وَوَضَعَ عَلَيْهِ حَصْبَاءَ، وَالْحَصْبَاءُ لَا تَثْبُتُ إِلَّا عَلَى قَبْرٍ مُسَطَّحٍ. أَخْرَجَ الْأَرْبَعَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْجَنَائِزِ.
Ja'far bin Muhammad narrates from his father that the Prophet (peace be upon him) sprinkled water on the grave of his son Ibrahim, and placed pebbles on it, and the pebbles can only remain on the level part of the grave.
