Hadith 570
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، وَثَبَّتَهُ مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي الصُّعَيْرِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَشْرَفَ عَلَى قَتْلَى أُحُدٍ فَقَالَ: "شَهِدْتُ عَلَى هَؤُلَاءِ فَزَمِّلُوهُمْ بِدِمَائِهِمْ وَكُلُومِهِمْ" .
It is narrated from Ibn Abi Sagheer that the Prophet (peace be upon him) looked at the martyrs of Uhud and said: I am a witness over them, cover them with their blood and wounds.
Hadith 571
أَخْبَرَنَا بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا، عَنِ اللَّيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَى قَتْلَى أُحُدٍ وَلَمْ يُغَسِّلْهُمْ.
It is narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) neither offered the funeral prayer for the martyrs of Uhud nor did he bathe them.
Hadith 572
أَخْبَرَنَا بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَى قَتْلَى أُحُدٍ وَلَمْ يُغَسِّلْهُمْ. أَخْرَجَ الثَّلَاثَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْجَنَائِزِ.
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer for the martyrs of Uhud and did not give them a ritual bath.
