Hadith 532
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَنْ لَا أَتَّهِمُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي يَزِيدُ أَوْ نَوْفَلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "أُسْكِنْتُ أَقَلَّ الْأَرْضِ مَطَرًا، وَهِيَ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيِ السَّمَاءِ، عَيْنِ الشَّامِ وَعَيْنِ الْيَمَنِ" .
Yazid or Naufal bin Abdullah Al-Hashimi narrates that the Prophet ﷺ said: "I have been made to stay on land with little rainfall, and it is between two springs of the sky: between the spring of 'Sham' and the spring of 'Ayn'."
Hadith 533
أَخْبَرَنَا مَنْ لَا أَتَّهِمُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "الْمَدِينَةُ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيِ السَّمَاءِ، عَيْنٍ بِالشَّامِ وَعَيْنٍ بِالْيَمَنِ، وَهِيَ أَقَلُّ الْأَرْضِ مَطَرًا" .
It is narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he stated: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Medina is between two springs of the sky, one is the spring of Syria and the other is the spring of Yemen, and this is a land with little rainfall."
Hadith 534
أَخْبَرَنَا مَنْ لَا أَتَّهِمُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "نُصِرْتُ بِالصَّبَا وَكَانَتْ عَذَابًا عَلَى مَنْ قَبْلِي" . أَخْرَجَ الثَّلَاثَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْعِيدَيْنِ.
It is narrated from Muhammad bin Amr that the Prophet ﷺ said: "I have been helped by my eastern wind, and this wind used to bring punishment for the people before."
