Hadith 507
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الثِّقَةُ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "لَا يَأْكُلَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ لَحْمَ نُسُكِهِ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ" .
It is narrated from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "None of you should eat from his sacrificial meat after three days."
Hadith 508
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ أَزْهَرَ، قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: لَا يَأْكُلَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ لَحْمَ نُسُكِهِ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ. أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الرِّسَالَةِ.
Abu Ubaid narrates from the freed slave of Ibn Azhar, who states: I was present with Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) on the occasion of Eid, and I heard him say: None of you should eat from the meat of his sacrifice after three days.
