It is narrated from Matlib bin Abdullah bin Hantab that on the day of Eid, the Prophet ﷺ would go to the Eid ground in the morning by a large road, and when returning, he would come back by another road near the house of Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him).

Abdur Rahman Taymi narrates from his father that he saw the Prophet ﷺ returning from the Eid prayer ground on the day of Eid. The Prophet ﷺ passed by the date sellers beneath the market. When he ﷺ reached near Masjid al-A'raj, which was by the unpaved pond in the market, he ﷺ stood with his feet apart, facing the qiblah, near the tribe of Salm. He ﷺ made supplication and then returned.

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when he would go out towards the Eid ground on the day of Eid, he would recite the Takbeerat aloud.

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that on the day of Eid al-Fitr, he would go towards the Eid ground in the morning when the sun had risen. He would recite the takbeerat in the Eid ground until the imam sat down, at which point he would stop reciting the takbeerat.
