Hadith 474
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ رَبَاحٍ، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَغْدُو يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى مِنَ الطَّرِيقِ الْأَعْظَمِ، فَإِذَا رَجَعَ رَجَعَ مِنَ الطَّرِيقِ الْأُخْرَى عَلَى دَارِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ.
It is narrated from Matlib bin Abdullah bin Hantab that on the day of Eid, the Prophet ﷺ would go to the Eid ground in the morning by a large road, and when returning, he would come back by another road near the house of Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 475
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاذُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ: أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجَعَ مِنَ الْمُصَلَّى فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ، وَسَلَكَ عَلَى التَّمَّارِينَ مِنْ أَسْفَلِ السُّوقِ، حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ مَسْجِدِ الْأَعْرَجِ الَّذِي عِنْدَ مَوْضِعِ الْبِرْكَةِ الَّتِي بِالسُّوقِ قَامَ وَاسْتَقْبَلَ فَجَّ أَسْلَمَ فَدَعَا ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ.
Abdur Rahman Taymi narrates from his father that he saw the Prophet ﷺ returning from the Eid prayer ground on the day of Eid. The Prophet ﷺ passed by the date sellers beneath the market. When he ﷺ reached near Masjid al-A'raj, which was by the unpaved pond in the market, he ﷺ stood with his feet apart, facing the qiblah, near the tribe of Salm. He ﷺ made supplication and then returned.
Hadith 476
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا غَدَا إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ كَبَّرَ فَرَفَعَ صَوْتَهُ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ.
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when he would go out towards the Eid ground on the day of Eid, he would recite the Takbeerat aloud.
Hadith 477
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَغْدُو إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ إِذَا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَيُكَبِّرُ بِالْمُصَلَّى حَتَّى إِذَا جَلَسَ الْإِمَامُ تَرَكَ التَّكْبِيرَ. أَخْرَجَ الْأَرْبَعَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْعِيدَيْنِ.
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that on the day of Eid al-Fitr, he would go towards the Eid ground in the morning when the sun had risen. He would recite the takbeerat in the Eid ground until the imam sat down, at which point he would stop reciting the takbeerat.
