Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: “Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to the Prophet ﷺ with a white glass in which there appeared a spot the size of a dot. The Prophet ﷺ asked: ‘What is this?’ Jibreel (peace be upon him) said: ‘This is Friday, through which you ﷺ and your ummah have been granted excellence. The Jews and Christians are behind you in this. And there is goodness for you in it. On this Friday, there is an hour in which, whatever supplication a believing servant makes for good, it is accepted. And this day is, with us, the Day of Increase (Yawm al-Mazeed).’ The Prophet ﷺ asked: ‘O Jibreel! What is the Day of Increase?’ Jibreel (peace be upon him) said: ‘Your Lord has made a vast valley in Paradise in which there are hills of musk. When Friday comes, Allah sends down as many angels as He wills. And around that valley are pulpits of light, upon which are seats for the Prophets (peace be upon them). These pulpits are covered by golden pulpits, which are adorned with rubies and emeralds. Behind those hills, upon them, sit the martyrs and the truthful. Allah, the Exalted, will say to them: I am your Lord and I have fulfilled My promise to you, now ask of Me and I will grant you. They will say: O our Lord! We ask for Your pleasure. Allah, the Exalted, will say: I am pleased with you, and for you is whatever you desire, and even more from Me. So they will love the Friday due to the goodness they receive from their Lord on it. And this is the day on which your Lord ascended the Throne, and on it Adam (peace be upon him) was created, and on this day the Resurrection will be established.”

From another chain of narration, it is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) similar to the previous hadith, except that there is an addition: "And there is goodness for you in that day; whoever supplicates for goodness in it, and if that goodness has already been allotted for him, it is given to him immediately. If it has not been allotted, then it is stored for him in exchange, which is better than it."

Sharahbeel bin Sa’d narrates from his father that an Ansari came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: “O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! Tell us about Friday, how much goodness is there in it?” The Prophet ﷺ said: “There are five virtues in it: On this day Adam (peace be upon him) was created, on this day Allah sent (Adam, peace be upon him) to the earth, on this day Adam (peace be upon him) passed away, and on this day there is an hour in which if a servant does not ask Allah for a sin or for severing ties of kinship, then whatever he asks for is granted. And on this day the Day of Judgment will occur; every close angel, the heavens, the earth, and the mountains all fear the day of Friday.”

It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) mentioned the day of Friday and said: "On this day there is a moment in which, if a Muslim servant is standing in prayer and asks Allah for something, Allah will surely grant it to him." With a gesture of his hand, the Prophet (ﷺ) indicated that this moment is very brief.

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The best day on which the sun rises is Friday. On this day Adam (peace be upon him) was created, on this day he was sent down to the earth, on this day his repentance was accepted, on this day he died, and on this day the Hour (Day of Judgment) will occur. Every creature in the universe, except jinn and humans, listens attentively from dawn until sunrise on Friday, awaiting the Hour (to hear the sound of the Trumpet). And in it there is a moment in which, if any Muslim servant asks Allah for something, Allah will surely grant it to him.”
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “It is the last hour of Friday.” Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “How can it be the last hour when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: No Muslim servant encounters it while in prayer, and in the last hour (after Asr) prayer is not performed?” Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: “Did the Prophet (ﷺ) not say that whoever sits in his place waiting for prayer is considered to be in prayer until he finishes the prayer?” He said: “Yes.” So he said: “That is the hour (time).”
