Hadith 434
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ [ ص: 23 ] ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: لِلرَّجُلِ إِذَا نَعَسَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ: أَنْ يَتَحَوَّلَ مِنْهُ.
It is narrated from Amr bin Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) who states that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "If a person feels drowsy on the day of Jumu'ah while the Imam is delivering the sermon, he should change his place."
Hadith 435
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "إِذَا عَطَسَ الرَّجُلُ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَشَمِّتْهُ" . أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنْ كِتَابِ إِيجَابِ الْجُمُعَةِ.
It is narrated from Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When a man sneezes on the day of Jumu'ah while the Imam is delivering the sermon, then respond to him."
