Hadith 399
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي يَحْيَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي صَفْوَانُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، وَعَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: شَاهِدٍ: يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَمَشْهُودٍ: يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ .
It is narrated from Nafi' bin Jubair and 'Ata bin Yasar, may Allah have mercy on them, that they narrate from the Prophet ﷺ that he ﷺ said: "The witnessed day is the day of Jumu'ah, and the attended day is the day of 'Arafah."
Hadith 400
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي شَرِيكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَمِرٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ.
In another chain, it is narrated in a similar manner from the Prophet ﷺ through the authority of Ata bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him).
Hadith 401
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَرْمَلَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ. أَخْرَجَ الثَّلَاثَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ إِيجَابِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَهِيَ أَوَّلُ مَا فِيهِ.
From another chain, it is narrated from the Prophet ﷺ through Ibn Musayyib in the same manner.
