Hadith 367
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ جُلَسَاءَهُ: مَاذَا سَمِعْتُمْ فِي مَقَامِ الْمُهَاجِرِ بِمَكَّةَ؟ قَالَ السَّائِبُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ: حَدَّثَنِي الْعَلَاءُ ابْنُ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "يَمْكُثُ الْمُهَاجِرُ بَعْدَ قَضَاءِ نُسُكِهِ ثَلَاثًا" . أَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ اسْتِقْبَالِ الْقِبْلَةِ.
It is narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Humaid (may Allah have mercy on him) that he states: Umar bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him) asked his companions, "What have you heard regarding the stay of a Muhajir in Makkah?" Saib bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'Ala bin Al-Hadrami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "After performing the rites of Hajj, the Muhajir will stay for three days."
