Hadith 323
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَبَّرَ فِي صَلَاةٍ مِنَ الصَّلَوَاتِ، ثُمَّ أَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ: امْكُثُوا ثُمَّ رَجَعَ عَلَى جِلْدِهِ أَثَرُ الْمَاءِ.
It is narrated from Ata bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) pronounced the takbeer in one of the prayers, then gestured with his hand, "Wait," then returned, and there were traces of water on his skin.
Hadith 324
أَخْبَرَنَا الثِّقَةُ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِ مَعْنَاهُ.
Through another chain, a narration with the same meaning as the previous hadith is reported from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet ﷺ.
Hadith 325
أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، يَعْنِي: ابْنَ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَرْقَمِ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَؤُمُّ أَصْحَابَهُ يَوْمًا، فَذَهَبَ لِحَاجَتِهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ، فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: "إِذَا وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْغَائِطَ، فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِهِ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ" .
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was leading his companions in prayer one day, then he went to relieve himself (appointing someone to lead in his place), and when he returned, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say, "When any of you feels the need to relieve himself, he should do so before performing the prayer."
Hadith 326
أَخْبَرَنَا الثِّقَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، يَعْنِي: ابْنَ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَرْقَمِ: أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ فَصَحِبَهُ قَوْمٌ، فَكَانَ يَؤُمُّهُمْ، فَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ وَقَدَّمَ رَجُلًا، وَقَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ وَوَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْغَائِطَ، فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْغَائِطِ" . أَخْرَجَ الْأَرْبَعَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْإِمَامَةِ.
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that he set out towards Makkah and some people from his tribe accompanied him. He used to lead them in prayer. (Once) the prayer was established and he took hold of a man and put him forward, and said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When the congregation is established and any of you feels the need to relieve himself, he should first relieve himself."
