Hadith 285
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ جَدَّتَهُ مُلَيْكَةَ دَعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِطَعَامٍ صَنَعَتْهُ لَهُ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: "قُومُوا فَلَأُصَلِّي لَكُمْ" . قَالَ أَنَسٌ: فَقُمْنَا إِلَى حَصِيرٍ لَنَا قَدِ اسْوَدَّ مِنْ طُولِ مَا لُبِسَ، فَنَضَحْتُهُ بِمَاءٍ، فَقَامَ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَفَفْتُ أَنَا وَالْيَتِيمُ خَلْفَهُ، وَالْعَجُوزُ مِنْ وَرَائِنَا.
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that his grandmother, Malikah (may Allah be pleased with her), invited the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for a meal which she had prepared as a hospitality for him. The Prophet (ﷺ) ate the food, then said: "Come, let me lead you in prayer." Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We stood on a mat which had turned black due to its oldness. I cleaned it with water, then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood on it, and I and the orphan (Dhumairah bin Sa'd) formed a row behind him, and (my) elderly (grandmother) was behind us.
Hadith 286
أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: صَلَّيْتُ أَنَا وَيَتِيمٌ خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِي بَيْتِنَا وَأُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ خَلْفَنَا.
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he states: I and a small child offered prayer behind the Prophet (ﷺ) in our house, and Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) was behind us.
Hadith 287
أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ جَدَّتَهُ مُلَيْكَةَ دَعَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى طَعَامٍ صَنَعَتْهُ لَهُ، فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: "قُومُوا فَلَأُصَلِّي بِكُمْ" ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ: فَقُمْتُ إِلَى حَصِيرٍ لَنَا قَدِ اسْوَدَّ مِنْ طُولِ مَا لُبِسَ، فَنَضَحْتُهُ بِمَاءٍ، فَقَامَ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَفَفْتُ أَنَا وَالْيَتِيمُ وَرَاءَهُ وَالْعَجُوزُ مِنْ وَرَائِنَا فَصَلَّى لَنَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ.
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that his grandmother, Malikah (may Allah be pleased with her), invited the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for a meal which she had prepared as a treat for him. The Prophet (ﷺ) ate the food, then said: "Come, let me lead you in prayer." Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I stood towards a mat which had turned black due to frequent use in our house. I sprinkled water on it to clean it, then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood on it. I and a small boy formed a row behind him, and the old woman stood behind us. The Prophet (ﷺ) led us in two rak‘ahs of prayer, then departed.
Hadith 288
أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ: أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَمَّهُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ: صَلَّيْتُ أَنَا وَيَتِيمٌ لَنَا خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ خَلْفَنَا.
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I and a small orphan boy prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and Umm Sulaim (may Allah be pleased with her) was behind us.
Hadith 289
أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، أَظُنُّهُ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ قَالَ: أَخَذَ بِيَدِي زِيَادُ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْدٍ فَوَقَفَ بِي عَلَى شَيْخٍ بِالرَّقَّةِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقَالُ لَهُ: وَابِصَةُ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ فَقَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي هَذَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى [ ص: 301 ] رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي خَلْفَ الصَّفِّ وَحْدَهُ فَأَمَرَ أَنْ يُعِيدَ الصَّلَاةَ. أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْإِمَامَةِ وَإِلَى آخِرِ الْخَامِسِ مِنَ الْجُزْءِ الثَّانِي مِنَ اخْتِلَافِ الْحَدِيثِ.
Wabisah bin Ma’bad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man praying alone behind the row and ordered him to repeat the prayer.
