Hadith 276
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ إِذَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةٌ بَارِدَةٌ ذَاتُ رِيحٍ، يَقُولُ: "أَلَا صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ" .
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he stated: When the night was cold and windy, the Prophet ﷺ would instruct the muezzin to say in the adhan: "Ala sallu fi r-rihal" (Be aware! Pray in your homes!).
Hadith 277
أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّهُ أُذِّنَ لَيْلَةً ذَاتَ بَرْدٍ وَرِيحٍ، فَقَالَ: "أَلَا صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ" ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ إِذَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةٌ بَارِدَةٌ ذَاتُ مَطَرٍ يَقُولُ: "أَلَا صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ" .
It is narrated from Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) once gave the call to prayer on a cold and windy night and said: " ألا صلوا فى الرحال (Pray in your dwellings)." Then he said: When the night was cold and rainy, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would order the mu'adhdhin to say in the call to prayer: " ألا صلوا فى الرحال (Pray in your dwellings)."
Hadith 278
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ [ ص: 295 ] صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ مُنَادِيَهُ فِي اللَّيْلَةِ الْمَطِيرَةِ، وَاللَّيْلَةِ الْبَارِدَةِ ذَاتِ رِيحٍ: "أَلَا صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ" . أَخْرَجَ الْأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ اسْتِقْبَالِ الْقِبْلَةِ، وَالثَّانِيَ وَالثَّالِثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْإِمَامَةِ.
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would instruct his muezzin on a rainy and windy cold night to say in the call to prayer: " ألا صلوا في الرحال " (Pray in your dwellings).
