It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "By Him in Whose hand is my soul: I intended to order for firewood to be collected, then order for the call to prayer to be given, then appoint someone to lead the people in prayer, then I would go to those men (who do not attend the prayer) and burn their houses over them. By Him in Whose hand is my soul, if any one of them knew that he would get a meaty bone or two good shanks, he would surely come to the ‘Isha prayer."

It is narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Harmalah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The distinction between us and the hypocrites is attending the congregational prayer of Isha and Fajr. (Because) they do not have the ability to attend these two (prayers in congregation)."
