Hadith 271
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "صَلَاةُ الْجَمَاعَةِ تَفْضُلُ عَلَى صَلَاةِ الْفَرْدِ بِسَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ دَرَجَةً" .
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Offering prayer in congregation is twenty-seven degrees more virtuous than a man's (individual) prayer."
Hadith 272
أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "صَلَاةُ الْجَمَاعَةِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاةِ أَحَدِكُمْ وَحْدَهُ بِخَمْسَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ جُزْءًا" .
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Performing prayer in congregation is twenty-five times more virtuous than performing prayer alone among you."
Hadith 273
أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْإِقَامَةَ وَهُوَ بِالْبَقِيعِ فَأَسْرَعَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ. أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْإِمَامَةِ، وَالثَّالِثَ فِي كِتَابِ اخْتِلَافِ مَالِكٍ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ.
It is narrated from Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was in Baqi', and when he heard the iqamah, he hurried towards the mosque.
