Hadith 213
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهُمَا أَخْبَرَاهُ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْإِمَامُ فَأَمِّنُوا، فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ" . قَالَ: ابْنُ شِهَابٍ: وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: آمِينَ.
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the Imam says Ameen, you should also say Ameen! Whoever's Ameen coincides with the Ameen of the angels, all his previous (minor) sins are forgiven."
Hadith 214
أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سُمَيٌّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ: غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا الضَّالِّينَ [الْفَاتِحَةِ: 7] فَقُولُوا: آمِينَ، فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ .
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the Imam says ﴿غير المغضوب عليهم ولا الضالين﴾, then you should say Ameen! Whoever's Ameen coincides with the Ameen of the angels, all his previous (minor) sins are forgiven."
Hadith 215
أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: إِذَا قَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ: آمِينَ، وَقَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ فِي السَّمَاءِ: آمِينَ، فَوَافَقَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا الْأُخْرَى، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ .
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you says Ameen, the angels in the heavens also say Ameen, and whoever's Ameen coincides with the Ameen of the angels, all his previous (minor) sins are forgiven."
Hadith 216
أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهُمَا أَخْبَرَاهُ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "إِذَا آمَنَ الْإِمَامُ فَآمِنُوا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ" قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ: وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: آمِينَ.
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the Imam says Ameen, you should also say Ameen. Whoever's Ameen coincides with the Ameen of the angels, all his previous sins are forgiven." Ibn Shihab Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say Ameen.
Hadith 217
أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ الْأَئِمَّةَ مِنَ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُ، يَقُولُونَ: آمِينَ، وَمَنْ خَلْفَهُمْ، حَتَّى إِنَّ لِلْمَسْجِدِ لَلَجَّةً.
It is narrated from Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) that he states: I heard from the imams appointed by Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with them both) and the imams after them that they would say Ameen, and their followers would also say Ameen, to the extent that the mosque would resound.
Hadith 218
أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ الْأَئِمَّةَ وَذَكَرَ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُ يَقُولُونَ: آمِينَ، وَيَقُولُونَ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ: آمِينَ، حَتَّى إِنَّ لِلْمَسْجِدِ لَلَجَّةً. أَخْرَجَ الثَّلَاثَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ اسْتِقْبَالِ الْقِبْلَةِ، وَالرَّابِعَ وَالْخَامِسَ فِي كِتَابِ اخْتِلَافِ مَالِكٍ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا وَالسَّادِسَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْأَمَالِي.
It is narrated from Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) who states: I heard the Imams and mentioned Ibn Zubair (may Allah be pleased with them both) and the era after him, that the (Imam) would say Ameen and their followers would also say Ameen, to the extent that the mosque would resound.
