Hadith 162
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَابَاهَ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ، مَنْ وَلِيَ مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَمْرِ النَّاسِ شَيْئًا، فَلَا يَمْنَعَنَّ أَحَدًا طَافَ بِهَذَا الْبَيْتِ وَصَلَّى أَيَّ سَاعَةٍ شَاءَ مِنْ لَيْلٍ أَوْ نَهَارٍ" .
It is narrated from Jubair bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Banu Abd Manaf! Whoever among you becomes a ruler over the people, he should not prevent anyone from performing Tawaf of this House or praying in it at any time, day or night, whenever he wishes."
Hadith 163
أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، وَعَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ. أَوْ مِثْلَ مَعْنَاهُ لَا يُخَالِفُهُ، وَزَادَ عَطَاءٌ: يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، أَوْ يَا بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، أَوْ يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ.
Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated from another chain from the Prophet ﷺ a hadith similar to the previous one, except that in the chain of Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) there is this addition: "O Banu Abd al-Muttalib, or O Banu Hashim, or O Banu Abd Manaf."
Hadith 164
أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ أَبَانًا وَعَطَاءَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ: أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ طَافَ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ وَصَلَّى قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ. أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنَ الْجُزْءِ الثَّانِي مِنَ اخْتِلَافِ الْحَدِيثِ وَالثَّالِثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الرِّسَالَةِ.
It is narrated from Amr bin Dinar, he says: "I saw Aban and Ata bin Abi Rabah, indeed Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) performed Tawaf of the House of Allah after the (Fajr) prayer and prayed before the sun had risen."
