Hadith 151
It is narrated from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) once slept through the morning prayer, so he performed it after the sun had risen and said: "Whoever forgets a prayer should perform it when he remembers it, for Allah the Exalted says: 'And establish prayer for My remembrance.'"

Hadith 152
A man from among the Companions of the Messenger ﷺ narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on a journey. In the last part of the night, he ﷺ camped and said: “Is there any righteous person who will keep watch tonight, so that we do not oversleep and miss the prayer?” Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “I will (keep watch), O Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” It is said that Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) leaned against his mount and sat facing the east (so that he could call the adhan at the break of dawn). They woke up when the heat of the sun struck their faces. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “O Bilal!” Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: “O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! The same One who kept you from waking also kept me from waking.” The Companion says that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution and prayed the two sunnah rak‘ahs of Fajr, then drove the camels a little further, and then performed the Fajr prayer.

Hadith 153
It is narrated from Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: On the day of the Battle of the Trench, we were prevented from performing the prayer until a part of the night had passed after Maghrib, until Allah sufficed us from it, and this is the statement of Allah the Exalted: "And Allah was sufficient for the believers in battle, and Allah is Strong and Mighty." [احزاب: 25] The Prophet (ﷺ) called Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) and instructed him, so he gave the Iqamah for Zuhr, and the Prophet (ﷺ) led the Zuhr prayer in such a good manner as if he was praying it at its proper time. Then (Bilal, may Allah be pleased with him) gave the Iqamah for Asr, and the Prophet (ﷺ) led that prayer also in the same (good) manner. Then he gave the Iqamah for Maghrib and led the prayer in the same way. Then he gave the Iqamah for Isha and led that also in the same (good) manner. And this incident occurred before the verse regarding the prayer of fear was revealed: "(If you fear) then [pray] on foot or riding."
