Hadith 90
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّهُ أَقْبَلَ مِنَ الْجُرْفِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بِالْمِرْبَدِ تَيَمَّمَ فَمَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ وَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ الْمَدِينَةَ وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ فَلَمْ يُعِدِ الصَّلَاةَ. قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ: وَالْجُرْفُ قَرِيبٌ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ.
Nafi' narrates from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that he came from the place of Juruf, and when he reached near the (camel) enclosure, he performed tayammum, wiped his face and hands, and offered the Asr prayer. Then he entered Madinah while the sun was still high, and he did not repeat the prayer.
Hadith 91
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ تَيَمَّمَ بِمِرْبَدِ النَّعَمِ وَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ الْمَدِينَةَ وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ فَلَمْ يُعِدِ الصَّلَاةَ. أَخْرَجَ الْأَوَّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْوُضُوءِ وَالثَّانِيَ فِي كِتَابِ اخْتِلَافِ مَالِكٍ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ.
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) performed tayammum near the enclosure of cattle and offered the ‘Asr prayer. Then he entered Madinah while the sun was still high, but he did not repeat the prayer.
