Hadith 63
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا رَعَفَ انْصَرَفَ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ وَلَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ.
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that when Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would have a nosebleed, he would leave the prayer, perform ablution, and return without speaking.
Hadith 64
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: مَنْ أَصَابَهُ رُعَافٌ أَوْ مَنْ وَجَدَ رُعَافًا أَوْ مَذْيًا أَوْ قَيْئًا، انْصَرَفَ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَبَنَى. أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ فِي كِتَابِ اخْتِلَافِ مَالِكٍ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا.
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: "Whoever has a nosebleed, or experiences madhiy (pre-seminal fluid), or vomits, should go back and perform ablution, and then return to the same place and resume the prayer from there."
