Hadith 49
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ فَحَسَرَ الْعِمَامَةَ، وَمَسَحَ عَلَى مُقَدَّمِ رَأْسِهِ، أَوْ قَالَ: نَاصِيَتِهِ بِالْمَاءِ.
Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, removed his turban, and wiped over the front part of his head, or said that he wiped his forehead with water.
Hadith 50
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَسَحَ نَاصِيَتَهُ، أَوْ قَالَ مُقَدَّمَ رَأْسِهِ بِالْمَاءِ. أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْوُضُوءِ.
Mughira bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wiped his forehead or said that he wiped the front part of his head with water.
