Hadith 47
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: تَوَضَّأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ، فَاسْتَنْشَقَ وَمَضْمَضَ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ، وَصَبَّ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَصَبَّ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً، وَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ وَأُذُنَيْهِ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً. أَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْوُضُوءِ.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, put his hand into the vessel, rinsed his nose and mouth once, then put his hand in again and washed his face once, and washed his hands once, and wiped his head and ears once.
