Hadith 942

أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ. وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: لَا حَصْرَ إِلَّا حَصْرُ الْعَدُوِّ وَزَادَ أَحَدُهُمَا ذَهَبَ الْحَصْرُ الْآنَ.
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: "There is no impediment (ihsar) except the enemy." One of Ibn Tawus and Amr bin Dinar narrated these additional words: "Now even that (enemy's) impediment has ended."
