It is narrated from Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that he stated: Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was riding behind the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on his mount. A woman from the tribe of Khath'am came and began to ask for a religious ruling. Fadl started looking at her and she started looking at Fadl. So the Prophet (ﷺ) turned Fadl's face to the other side. The woman said: "O Messenger of Allah! Allah's obligation of Hajj has reached my elderly father in such a state that he cannot sit on a mount. Should I perform Hajj on his behalf?" He (ﷺ) said: "Yes." And this was during the Farewell Pilgrimage.
