أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: [ ص: 239 ] "الشِّعْرُ كَلَامٌ، حَسَنُهُ كَحَسَنِ الْكَلَامِ، وَقَبِيحُهُ كَقَبِيحِهِ" . أَخْرَجَ الْأَرْبَعَةَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْحَجِّ مِنَ الْأَمَالِي.
Hisham bin Urwah narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Poetry is (a form of) speech; its beauty is like the beauty of speech, and its ugliness is like the ugliness of speech."
