Hadith 857

It is narrated from Safiyyah bint Shaybah that she said: I was with Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) when a woman from the women of Banu Abdud-Dar came, who was called Tamlik. She said: "O Mother of the Believers! My such-and-such daughter has sworn an oath that she will not wear her jewelry during the (Hajj) season." So Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "Tell her that the Mother of the Believers adjures her by oath to wear all her jewelry."
