أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا نَرَى إِلَّا الْحَجَّ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِسَرِفَ أَوْ قَرِيبًا مِنْهَا حِضْتُ فَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَبْكِي فَقَالَ: "مَا لَكِ أَنَفِسْتِ" ؟ قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ. فَقَالَ: "إِنَّ هَذَا أَمْرٌ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى بَنَاتِ آدَمَ، فَاقْضِي مَا يَقْضِي الْحَاجُّ غَيْرَ أَنْ لَا تَطُوفِي بِالْبَيْتِ" . قَالَتْ: وَضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نِسَائِهِ الْبَقَرَ.
Narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she said: We set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with the intention of performing Hajj, until when we reached the place of Sarif or near it, I began menstruating. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came and I was crying. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What has happened to you, have you started menstruating?" I said, yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is something Allah has decreed for the daughters of Adam, so complete all the rites of Hajj except for the Tawaf of the House (Ka'bah)." Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) offered a sacrifice of a cow on behalf of his wives.
