أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمٌ، وَسَعِيدٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ: أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَسْأَلُ عَنِ الْمُهِلِّ، فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ ثُمَّ انْتَهَى أَرَاهُ يُرِيدُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: "يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَالطَّرِيقُ الْأُخْرَى مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الْمَغْرِبِ وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْعِرَاقِ مِنْ ذَاتِ عِرْقٍ، وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ، وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ" .
It is narrated from Abu Az-Zubair that he heard Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) when he was asked about the place for entering into Ihram. He said: "I heard it," then he fell silent. I think he was referring to the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: "The people of Madinah will enter into Ihram from Dhu'l-Hulaifah, those coming from another route from Juhfah, the people of Iraq from Dhat 'Irq, the people of Najd from Qarn al-Manazil, and the people of Yemen from Yalamlam."
