أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: إِنَّ فِي هَذَا الظَّهْرِ نَاقَةً عَمْيَاءَ، فَقَالَ: أَمِنْ نَعَمِ الْجِزْيَةِ أَوْ مِنْ نَعَمِ الصَّدَقَةِ؟ فَقَالَ أَسْلَمُ: مِنْ نَعَمِ الْجِزْيَةِ، قَالَ: إِنَّ عَلَيْهَا مِيسَمَ الْجِزْيَةِ.
It is narrated from Aslam (may Allah have mercy on him), he reports that he said to Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him): Among these camels, there is a blind she-camel. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: Is it among the animals of jizya (tax) or among the animals of sadaqah (zakat)? Aslam said: It is among the animals of jizya (tax). He said: It bears the mark of jizya.
