أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ [ ص: 93 ] رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى عَلَى قَبْرِ مِسْكِينَةٍ تُوُفِّيَتْ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ.
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer at the grave of a poor woman who had passed away during the night.
