أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ الشَّمْسَ كُسِفَتْ فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَوَصَفْتُ صَلَاتَهُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَةٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ.
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she reported from the Prophet (ﷺ) that the sun was eclipsed, so the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed prayer. She stated that his prayer consisted of two rak'ahs, and in each rak'ah there were two bowings (ruku).
