أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ حُمْرَانَ: أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ تَوَضَّأَ بِالْمَقَاعِدِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: "مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ نَحْوَ وُضُوئِي هَذَا، خَرَجَتْ خَطَايَاهُ مِنْ وَجْهِهِ وَيَدَيْهِ وَرِجْلَيْهِ" . أَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ كِتَابِ الْوُضُوءِ.
Humran (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) performed ablution at his sitting place and washed each limb of ablution three times, then said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: “Whoever performs ablution like this of mine, his sins will depart from his face, hands, and feet.”
